Nourishing the Spectrum: Understanding the Food-Brain Connection

Event Description

Autism Moms of Houston and Wellness Institute of Neurodevelopment invite parents and caregivers to a practical and informative workshop focused on the connection between nutrition and behavior.

Many families raising neurodiverse children face challenges around picky eating and nutrition. In this workshop, we will explore how the Gut-Brain Axis and inflammation may influence behavior, mood, and overall well-being.

This science-based session will provide helpful insights and practical ideas for families looking to better understand how food choices can impact brain health and daily functioning for neurodiverse children.
